After the New Year holidays, it’s back to work. Back to the dreaded commute. And back to the dearly beloved DS.

Yes, so many of them now. Trains are so packed like sardine in a can again….
I have to salute some of them can play their DS in these kind of situation. 🙂
I’m lucky that I don’t have to do it, and in that respect, I salute them for simply dealing with it. Considering the cramped nature of many trains, it can’t be easy. Not by any stretch of the imagination.
Oh, no. Last night, under the weird light in my office, I thought the guy on the right was a gaijin with his eyes open! He is actually sound asleep… My bad but if you don’t pay close attention, you could be mistaken…
Great photo Lee!
I just wish people wouldn’t continue to play them while walking up/down stairs and through the station though. They may be skilled at negotiating the fantasy world but reality is often a different story.

He looks so intense! I wonder what he could be playing?
Lee says
Yeah, the sight of people playing games is common, but his intense stare was what caught my eye.
Due to their popularity here, my guess would be a role playing game of some description.

The guy on the right looks like criminal hiding from Interpol or… from your camera, Lee 🙂
Lee says
He does a bit, doesn’t he? Happy to say it must be Interpol he’s hiding from, as I took the phot blind, with the camera on my lap.
Wonder what he did?!

Your blog updates are usually impeccable in both text and imagery *but* I think you’ll find that’s a 3DS 🙂
Sorry for nitpicking
Lee says
Haha, sorry, my mistake! More thorough research needed next time!

Thanks Steve! That’s very true. Same with phones too. They clearly just rely on other people being aware of them and moving out of the way…
