Thanks for the link. Also got sent another on Twitter of him performing. I’d never had the pleasure of seeing him before, so thought it was a one-off. Happy to know that he’s regularly out and about making people smile. Or in the case of this photo, not smile!
You are very welcome. Happy the way it came out in that respect. My main aim was getting the performer and the man on the left in the photo, but fortunately I got a few more people in as well.
What a wonderful composition. Unusually it’s all about you. Your pet cat so wants you to take him for a walk; your model on the left has just asked if his slouch and scowl are surly enough; the striding blue guy mentally ticks off “Photobomb Tokyo Times” from his bucket list; the red topped lady puts her hand to her mouth as she gasps “omg it’s Lee Chapman”, and the blurry guy in blue and white dead centre captures another shot of you in action for his upcoming book about your life and work.
On another note, weird how the same turquoise and white shirt colour scheme appears on your photograph and the twitpic linked to by Constantine.
But as mentioned above, there’s a fair bit going on, isn’t there? The two in the foreground were admittedly my only targets, but the others in the shot definitely add a lot to it. Good call on the same colour schemed shirt too. Especially weird as it’s an unusual and very distinct colour. Another nice little extra!
Thanks. He definitely doesn’t look best pleased, does he? It wouldn’t surprise me if he hadn’t even seen the man on his left, so he might have thought I was jut taking his photo…
