After bounding along beside his master’s bike, there’s clearly nothing this dog would rather do than lean on a bench and leisurely watch the world go by.
What a lovely photograph. What were they looking at? Enquiring minds (my Mrs) want to know.
Now let’s test my knowledge of Japan here – that’s an Akita dog, and in the background is a paddy of lotus plants?
(you’ll probably tell me it’s a king charles spaniel and a rhubarb field :-))
Cheers. Even lovelier, they were both watching a family walk away, the youngest of whom had been understandably enamoured by the dog and its posture.
Not an Akita, but definitely not a king charles spaniel either! Rather a shiba inu. Very similar looking to an akita, but smaller, although as far as I know, a different breed altogether. And yes, they are lotus plants in the background, but to be honest, I really wish it was a rhubarb field!

Yeah, a lovely little thing, isn’t it? A very chilled out dog indeed!

I enjoy seeing a dog in your photos once in a great while. A wholesome change of pace 🙂

Yes, it’s always nice to mix things up a bit, especially so with a lovely little dog like this. But very likely back to darker subjects tomorrow!
