Yes, it was a lovely bright day, and everything seemed very colorful. Hence the extra contrast I’ve given the photo to try and replicate the feeling somewhat.

I love how the blokes in the face masks in the background change the mood from a wedding photo to a shot from a gangster film 🙂

I had another shot without the masked men, but that ‘look’ is arguably as common as the blossoms at this time of year, so it seemed right to use the one with them in it. And like you say, the do add another dimension to the photo.

Looks like one of these serene days when everything is just great, and you actually doesn’t have to put a lot of efforts into taking pictures, they’ll be beautiful anyway.

Another photo that I had to comment on. Wedding and cherry blossoms I see it this way the masked men are the witnesses to the wedding. Haha.
