Yeah, the colours are really nice. Lovely and dated.
He just seems to be being polite to customers with his ã„らã£ã—ゃã„ã¾ã› (welcome) sign. But why they chose an alien is anyone’s guess.

Ah, JyaJya Udon. A cold udon dish served with spicy miso, pork and mushrooms I think. Ideal for this time of year.
