The detail, the textures, the history. Combine that with the lighting, location, framing and character, and you have a great photograph.

Also, thanks for teaching me some Japanese. I took a punt at the word being Coffee and after a brief googlewrangle got コーヒー , KÅhÄ«. Result! And one I will have a fair chance of recognising next visit (229 days away) when seen in the context of a shop noren.
