Japanese salary man substitute

Japan being Japan, men hold the vast majority of the country’s top spots, and as far as pay goes, they generally pocket far more than their female counterparts. An imbalance that isn’t just restricted to work related matters either, as there is also a distinct disparity in regard to leisure activities; including the perhaps not so important but still pertinent issue of plastic partners.

Not surprisingly, men have a whole gamut of goodies on offer, with various shapes and services to choose from. Plus there’s even a magazine to help put that extra bit of sizzle into silicone.

However thankfully things are gradually beginning to change, and as Japan slowly shuffles towards equality, its ladies are at last lucky enough to have been granted the services of a rubber rendezvous. The only difference being that whereas men appear to opt for fantasy figures with overly ample appendages, women seem happier with more realistic replicas.

So much so in fact, that supposedly just like the real thing, the silicone salary man has to be woken from his slumber due to his standard 14-hour workday and a few forced beers with the boss before any sort of shenanigans can take place.

The simple removal of his optional purple pants quite possibly enough to do the trick.

Although as far as fun goes, the only problem may well be his, ahem, size.

Japanese johnnies

Japan isn’t always an easy market for foreign firms to force their way into, yet multinational Nestle has never looked back with its Kit Kat biscuit brand. ‘Special edition’ flavours keep the formula fresh, and the snack’s adoption as a good luck charm for students has all but cemented its place in Japanese society.

That said, how happy the company must be about the comedy contraceptives below is debatable to say the least, although they do at least add a spot of semi-saucy suggestion to the now somewhat stale slogan of ‘Have a break, have a Kit Kat’.

The kewpie mayonnaise inspired condoms on the left however, have, at least as far as the condiments creamy contents go, decidedly different connotations altogether.

Eye candy

Just as the likes of Sony and Samsung can’t afford to standstill for fear of being caught by the field, Japanese plastic partner pioneer Orient Industry is equally keen on keeping ahead of the competition.The only difference being that Orient happens to have silicone rather than silicon inside its products that’s all.

And with the Tokyo based company’s dolls now being rented out to customers and used as hotel ‘extras’, not to mention those bought by individuals, a few fresh faces will no doubt help boost sales and increase the number of visitors to its showroom.

Meaning that those willing to make the journey will be able to feast their eyes on four new additions to the Candy Girl family. For starters there’s the decidedly melancholy looking Miku.

And a similarly miserable Meg.

Then there’s the rather thoughtful and ringlet sporting Rei.

With the last one being Kira, who looks like a kid. And not a very old one at that.

Yet despite some technological and texture related revisions, the price of a doll hasn’t changed at all. Although at an average of 600,000 yen (4,900 dollars) each, it’s perhaps just as well.

Girlfriend in a coma

The Japanese love affair with latex dolls is well documented, or at least it is on this site, with a veritable selection of opportunities for a spot of silicone-based satisfaction. Tokyo tickle

With Tokyo literally teeming with a multitude of maid cafes, all the way from fairly regular cosplay-themed retreats to convent-like coffee shops, it was arguably only a matter of time before a more mature take on the trend was introduced — the cleverly named haunt Hand Maid being decidedly more interested in draining its customers vessels than keeping them topped up.

In fact, dispensing with beverages altogether, the establishment — which has a branch in both Tokyo and Osaka — offers a much more hands-on approach, with its maid uniform-clad staff members offering those who have been palmed off by their partners, or are reluctant to try out some rough and ready robotic relief, a little more of the human touch.

Details of the various specialities on offer can be seen at the official site here, which perhaps predictably also includes a schoolgirl outfit option; however despite the lack of nudity and mostly manga depicted deeds, it’s perhaps not exactly best suited for browsing at work or when grandma is about.

All in all, a place where a myriad of variations are available, provided of course the customer doesn’t decide to rub the staff up the wrong way. Plus, in true maid style, the personal service is second to none, and with bookings also available, the staff are more than happy to wait patiently for each customer to come.
