The sight of musicians presumably not wanting to annoy their neighbours with noise by practicing outside are a fairly common sight in Tokyo, especially so when it comes to wind instruments.
Little old ladies cranking out chords on keyboards on the other hand are, somewhat sadly, considerably less common.

And, after taking these few photos, I left her to it, blissfully unaware of other people,
or indeed even the park’s, presence.
After probably working for way too long, or at least way too much, it’s now finally time for this old fella to do what he really wants to on a weekday.
When it’s relatively warm out, and winter is still a little way off, what could be better than a walk home through the woods?
Drug use, especially among Japan’s famous, has made an almost laughable amount of headlines of late, but for many people, a quick toot or a brief bit of (a) blow in the park is the only recreational release they need.
Temperatures in Tokyo, particularly throughout September, could easily have led one to believe that summer would simply sizzle on for quite some time to come, but now, somewhat sadly, it’s fairly obvious that fall has finally arrived in full.
