Being a Vodafone subscriber, I can only gaze enviously at the cool and compact models offered by the likes of DoCoMo and AU. And a quick look at the fairly recent Talby will give you a pretty good idea of what I’m talking about.
But the arrival of DoCoMo’s Premini II has increased the jealousy factor even further, leaving me cell phone salivating. Due to its (relatively) small size, it may lack a few functions compared to its bigger and bulkier cousins, but in the design department it’s second to none.
And look, it even has fancy blue lights.
Resistance may be futile.

Here I’m using a phone based on 1990 tech, released in 2001 and purchased in 2003 and wow! it’s NEW! or atleast that’s what they say over here in Canada.
Now, whoever picks up this phone after tha 3GSM conference can guarentee my subscription!

I just cannot see what all the fuss is about. I’ll stick with this reliable model:

I would wait. Sony handsets for Docomo’s PDC line have the worst reception. I’m betting that sony-ericsson is going to release a FOMA handset that looks like this one soon. Which should be really cool…

Some of my colleagues here in Japan told me that after 2 years of contract witht the same provider, you might be able to change while keeping your number… If true, it might quench your thurst
