Quite fortunate with this one. When I first spotted her she was looking towards the station to the left of the frame. Presumably waiting for someone. That didn’t quite work as a photo, but then she looked up at the laughing faces with that rather melancholy expression and I knew I had something more interesting.
I really like the lady in green and her expression. A little melancholic, but mostly tranquil. But the couple distract me, busy as they are with something. I prefer it cropped so Mrs Green and the au face are the visible elements. I do love the fact you give us such hi-res versions.
Looking at the advert without text I’d assume it was for toothpaste, but the au probably means it’s a phone company advert?
Yeah, I really like her expression. Well, her whole look really.
With you on the couple. Very annoying. Would have been so much better without them. But it being Shibuya crossing, I was very lucky indeed to only have those two in the frame. The beauty of Tokyo is there are lots of people to photograph. The downside is there are lots of people!
Haha, toothpaste would be more apt. But yeah, one of the big phone networks.
To be honest the photos are still very heavily compressed. The ones on my computer are noticeably better to look at.

Beautifully timed photograph! Seems staged it’s so perfect:) was the woman in green looking at the billboard or something else?

Still, to get 2400×1600 is nice, and appreciated. Many of the photo blogs I see you are lucky to get half that.

You are welcome. Happy to hear you feel the benefit. It frustrates me nowadays when limited to small photos, so don’t want that to be the case here.
