Despite being well into September, summer shows no sign of saying sayonara. The sun is as intense as ever, and humidity levels remain positively unpleasant.
Conditions that really do take their toll. Particularly in a big, concrete loving city. A heady mix that for this old couple meant having to take a nap even though there was nowhere even remotely nice to have one.

Aww this is cute, I don’t feel the blazing heat seeing this, instead I feel a warm fuzz. Nice shot 🙂

Thanks! Yes, I suppose there is a real sweetness about it. Both comfortable with themselves, and each other.

I think these public napping photos are among my favorite. Really make me wish I lived there. To be able to just plop down and nap…. *sigh*

Unfortunately I don’t have the ability to just sleep anywhere, but I know what you mean. To be able to lie down and go to sleep without any worries is without a doubt a wonderful thing.

Oh, really they seem to feel good under the shade of a tree. But my elder brother might say,” Don’t do like that in front of people.” Some older people do like that. Though recently some younger people sit on the road like they are at home, but many adults don’t sleep where many people are walking around them in Tokyo. But maybe it depends on the people. At a beautiful country and not so many people around me I might sleep on the ground😃

Yes, I’d be too self-conscious in the city, but somewhere quiet and out in the country would be lovely.

The same opinion. I know many such a lovely place around Tokyo and in Tokyo. When I am there, I can relax and the view reminds me of the far gone past days. I ‘ve lived in Tokyo for 57 years. Many lovely place I sometimes visit these days.
