Sadly I was out of the country when Asakusa hosted its annual samba festival. But seeing as it’s such a culturally significant event, I feel the least I can do is show a couple of pictures from this year’s procession.
And so as not to appear sexist in anyway, here’s a picture of one of the male performers.
