Apologies for the lack of updates, but thanks to an online gambling emporium, Tokyo Times was knocked out by a slurry of spiteful spam.
Yes, it’s so nice to know that for the sake of a higher Google ranking, such unsavoury types are happy to target and practically destroy harmless and (perhaps I’m being a little optimistic here) fun sites like this.
But after a few very frustrating days, with many an hour spent swearing at my computer and wishing unpleasantness upon my attackers, Tokyo Times is back.
Not bigger, or even better, but back nonetheless.
So once again I can look forward to treating you to more thought provoking and potentially life changing posts concerning used panties, up-skirt picture takers, and loose bowelled commutersรขโฌยฆ
Let the good times roll!
*This site is now run using WordPress and was hastily (and I fear unskillfully) put together. So any feedback concerning errors or site design will be gratefully received. Thanks.)

I love the new look.

Sorry to hear that your web site has been hacked. My site was hacked too first by spammers posting online adds in the coments and then finally they took down the entire site on and off for 3 weeks. Some one should do something about spammers

looking good – sorry to hear about the spammers.

Sorry to hear about the trouble – really sucks. Glad to see you’re back up and running again ๐ I have to say I was feeling quite deprived of my regular tokyotimes fix ^_^

whew, thought you’d been a victim of a suicide pact or something. ๐

Thanks for the positive and supportive comments.
Now that I’ve got all my old posts moved, and (most) of the problems associated with moving a blog sorted out, I think the spam attack could have been a blessing in disguise. I prefer this new look, and I’m more than happy with WordPress. After only using it for a short time, I already prefer it to Movable Type.
The words cloud and silver lining spring to mind!
