Not a reference to ‘gift horses’ I suspect, nor to Mr Ed the talking horse (head?), so I can only think that
it was the only head that was left? At least it has at least got some free advertising on TokyoTimes !
Yeah, I have no idea what it’s a reference to, especially as SoftBank use a dog for lots of its advertising. It does grab people’s attention though, so it certainly serves a purpose.

Bic Camera. Where?
Lee says
Shinjuku. Just up the road from Studio Alta.
Martin says
That’s unique lol. What’s he selling?
Lee says
Telephones.
No, I can’t see the connection there either!

Well, Kurosawa had problems finding horses in Japan for his films Kagemusha and Ran, I guess they must be a rare sight even in the countryside.
Lee says
They certainly aren’t a common sight. In fact, on a plate is the last time I saw one…
Hans ter Horst says
LOL, yeah, I had the horse sashimi too, delicious!
Shizuo says
That’s weird and quite scary for me >_<
Lee says
It’s certainly not something you see everyday, that’s for sure.

So funny!! Maybe, the horse head could attract more people to sign contact.
The(expectant?) lady who holding her hubby has the best expression!
Lee says
Yeah, she does. Attention grabbing for sure!
