There’s certainly a lot to see. So much so in fact that I hadn’t really noticed the white box. Good question. Small fire extinguishers are common sights, but not sure about fire hoses like that. I’ll have to have a closer look next time I’m in the area so I can give a proper answer.
What a wonderful location, so narrow, so many rusted greebles, so many circles. It must feel like Luke Skywalker making his deathstar bomb run cycling down there.
For some reason this photograph sprang to mind when I considered how in harms way you looked – from Rear Window… https://tinyurl.com/yxvfraar
… the reason James Stewart has a broken leg 🙂

I’d also like to add there isn’t much space for a photographer! 😉

Haha, that’s difficult to disagree with!

Is that a ‘neighborhood fire hose in the white box to the picture left of the biker???
Fun picture with lots of details to check out.

That’s a whole lot of manholes to shimmy around (if you are not being watched), and a freeky set of mudguards being protected by the shrub.
Lee says
I know eh? An almost ridiculous amount. Lots of shimmying would be required that’s for sure. And yes, definitely not your average mudguards.

Yeah, it’s a great little spot. And all those circles are great eh?
What a photo. Thankfully it wasn’t anywhere near as hairy as that, but I did have to take evasive action immediately after pressing the shutter.
