The older residents of older parts of Tokyo are generally what make such areas so interesting, but the similarly ageing architecture also plays its part, and when it comes to textures and colour, this garage most definitely takes some beating. A building so fantastic in fact that locals appear willing to colour coordinate accordingly.

it’s nice in B&W too!

Yeah, the addition of matching shoes made it for me. Lovely attention to detail!
It is. So much character it works either way.

Gorgeously rustalicious.
Pity the architecture is of the Bauhaus school.
Your eye for the perfect character is unnerving sometimes. There are so many layers to the way that guy fits the scene.
And y’know, it just could be the Britain’s “greatest cultural chameleon” himself – https://tinyurl.com/843xv6y6

I must admit when he walked into the frame I couldn’t believe how much he matched everything. The worry then was a car would go past or someone on a bicycle, but thankfully it all worked out.
That really would have been something to say the very least. Long been a huge fan, and many years ago I had the pleasure of sitting in on an interview he was doing at the Fuji Rock Festival. An interview in the small dining room of the similarly small hotel we were staying in. He was, as always, truly fascinating.

You never know what will happen. Mrs Cdilla onceI had a late breakfast in a London hotel and when we had finished, just admiring the view over Westminster Bridge, Steven Frame (Dynamo) came in followed by an interview team. It was fascinating watching the process, and, of course, listening in. Magical. (Sorry, couldn’t resesit it 🙂

I love the color and how uneven everything is! 🙂

I know eh? Hopefully it’s just the exterior, but I suspect the upstairs floors aren’t the flattest…
