Many moons ago I photographed the fella in the first photo — someone whose very obvious love of Louis Vuitton felt unlikely to be topped. And that’s the way it seemed destined to be, until last week that is, when I took the second shot of an unexpected contender for the LV crown. Or should that be hard hat? A man who didn’t just boast about his fashion allegiance, he practically brandished it.

In the first photo there is a guy standing behind the man. Is that guy taking a photo? Is he as fascinated with the guy as I am? WHY would people dress like that?!?
Lee says
No idea what was going on, but he had a video camera. Don’t see many of them nowadays. So there could be footage somewhere…
But yes, ‘why’ is the big question. A question I have no answer for whatsoever!

I love the first guy. He looks so proud of himself! 🙂
Lee says
He does. Be interesting to know if he has a range of such outfits. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if he did.

Wondering if that first ensemble is from the fashion line, or did he rework an old raincoat to come up with that? I’ll admit I’m not well versed in designer fashions. I do see a lot of videos on YouTube in which people demonstrate what they can make out of old clothing, and it’s typically stuff I’ve never imagined anyone actually wearing. Until now, that is….
Another eye opener. Thanks again, Lee.

That would be my guess, but I’m similarly lacking in knowledge when it comes to such things. That said, it’s hard to imagine a brand like LV making something so niche, unless it was some kind of odd special edition. Either way though, he did make for a striking sight. Certainly made my day.
You are very welcome. They were both photos I enjoyed getting. Definitely not your average street sightings.
