That’s a fair point. Areas like the one above haven’t changed for years, but other parts of the city must be unrecognisable to those who lived there years ago.
You do make me miss Japan. Seems almost funny to say from the picture you have but after having been away for some time (~15 years), I miss the crowded alleys with women who look like my Obaachan, going to places, I’m sure they spent 30 min. getting ready for 🙂 Cheers

Future in regards the ageing population.
It’s in east Tokyo. Fairly near Hikifune station. A fascinating area.

Ah, I knew this looked familiar! I live right across the river from Hikifune. My side of the river looks exactly like this too. 🙂
