Despite being known for their incredible reliability and long life span, this particular Honda Super Cub is sadly as dilapidated as its owner was suspicious.

Kinda sad to see that Honda in such a bad state. 🙁 Maybe he wasn’t suspicious but embarrassed you were taking a snap of it………
That’s one in a hundred million. I’m surprised the guy didn’t hop out and offer you a few yen to tow/carry it away 🙂
It is wonderful how our creations can just melt away as the tide of nature sweeps over them. Pity someone wasn’t around when that bike made it’s final stop and set up a time-lapse camera.
So many textures. That glass is rather nice, provides a sort of analogue pixilation of his face.
Yeah, that number is incredible, isn’t it? And still production goes on…
A timelapse would be wonderful to see, wouldn’t it? Be nice to know what state it was in when it finally gave up the ghost. Pretty rough by then I would imagine.
Initially I was disappointed that he hadn’t poked his full face round the door, but then seeing that pixilation made me change my mind.

Quite possibly! For me at least there was an odd beauty about the bike. It seemed to be slowly becoming a part of the street.
